Tablescapes 2024

During Collectible 2024 the exhibition Tablescapes at Collectible’s permanent space in Brussels showcased the artistry of collectible tableware, curated by Laurine Abrieu, editor-in-chief of Milk Decoration magazine. The exhibition featured works by 25 contemporary designers, blending functionality with artistic expression to explore the boundaries of tableware, cutlery, and decor. Each piece encourages reflection on the act of eating, capturing the essence of human sharing in a sensorial, immersive experience.

The exhibition unfolds across various staged tables, each crafted with distinctive scenography by Anne Bo Vis, Yoko Negi, and Roos Schneijderberg. These settings present a diverse array of design perspectives, capturing the essence of the "art of the table" through the lens of contemporary creativity. German designer Lilli Malou participated with her work Dig In. In an interview for Collectible In-Depth, Lilli Malou discusses her work and creative process. Tablescapes was on display at Rue Saint-Georges 9, Sint-Jorisstraat, 1050 Brussels, accessible by appointment.
